KUCHING, April 9: Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) will look into identifying camping sites across the Sarawak to promote caravan or motorhome tourism.
Its minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the idea could be realised upon the completion of Pan Borneo Highway roads. “I foresee that with the Pan Borneo Highway which will be ready soon, we (MTCP) can work together with local councils to identify certain sites in every division or district to promote the culture of the Western countries namely caravan or motorhome.
